Sept. 5: "Clip show, clip show, CLIP SHOW!" Exhausted and relieved, Adam and Matty are performing an ad hoc Conga line around the Filmspotting studios. With Adam heading North to cover the Toronto International Film Festival and Matty fulfilling his community service... or, um, otherwise engaged... this week Filmspotting digs into the vaults to bring you some of the shows "best of" conversations with directors Rian Johnson ("Brick"), Richard Linklater (above, "Fast Food Nation") and Michael Winterbottom ("A Mighty Heart").

Listen attentively as Adam does what no journalist has done since the director began work on his adaptation of Mariane Pearl's "A Mighty Heart": spend 15 minutes with Winterbottom without asking once about star Angelina Jolie or producer/husband Brad Pitt. Also on the show... Adam and Sam rate the return of Jolie as a 'serious actress' with their review of "A Mighty Heart."
