I can't believe you insinuated that I was a "film snob." I don't think I have said a word about Wong Kar Wai(he is a god). This is absurd. i was so offeneded by the mentioning of Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, I immediatley went and watched all 746 minutes of Rivette's Out 1. Hmph.

Well, you better have watched it in a theater in full 35mm with no intermissions and not one of those godawful televideo bastardizations they make for the plebs.

Thanks for setting my mind at ease, OldWest. You were the one guy I was a little bit nervous about calling out.
Thanks for all the positive feedback from everyone.

This was my favourite part. One of the cats is mean and the other falls down easily. Why is the thought of a cat falling down so damn funny?!?

Let us all focus our hopes and fears on The Dope Sheet #46 to see if any one will stand up for film snobs everywhere.

Nice work, Alex!
Thanks again. I felt like I was writing just for you, soda. I did feel the glow of shared Romy & Michelle love. Thank goodness I can count on you to help spread the gospel for both R&M and Xanadu!

Allow me to add some testosterone to make this thread level out. The Departed. Gladiator. 300. Predator. Ok. There is still a little less testosterone here, but it will do for now.
