Hi Guys, just a note to say
first time listener, just caught this program -- Farewell My Concubine is a very old favorite of mine and I was delighted to hear your spot-on analysis. Thank You!
Thanks for introducing me to Flickchart, I mean thanks for ruining my life. Just thought I'd check it out for a minute, three hours later: Congo v. Citizen Kane. For the tough ones like Fargo v. Millers Crossing there should be an option of killing yourself.
Hey also, a first time listener here, but now a constant listener, thanks to your review of Men Who Stare. You guys nailed this one and thank God. This was the absolute worst piece of filmmaking I have ever scene, and I was SO excited to go see it. I thought it would be a Cohen Brothers-Esque film that would be HILARIOUS, but instead it was a slow torture in which I spent the first half of the film praying it may possibly get better, and the second half waiting to see how bad it could possibly get -- and man, did it get bad!
Keep up the good work, fellas, I will be listening.
