I don't mind the idea of a spoiler edition of a movie review, but I'd like to suggest you do it as a separate podcast. It's not easy to fast forward without hearing at least some of the dialog. I haven't seen Batman yet, as I'm waiting for it to hit my local IMAX theater next month. I'm trying to remain spoiler free.
I agree, it's sometimes difficult to accurately skip portions of a podcast. An alternative suggestion might be to save any spoiler sections for the end of the podcast. That way at least the listener has a clearly defined point at which they can opt out. It also provides a convenient point to resume the broadcast, once they have actually seen the film being spoiled.
I don't know... I certainly hear your point and don't disagree that other approaches might have been better... but there are two places where it tells you exactly what time to skip to. I can skip to 23 minutes on my iPod without hearing anything.
I would also suggest a separate podcast for spoiler editions, only because it deprives many of your listeners from hearing an additional movie review. I would have very much preferred to hear your review of X-Files in this show since it is opening wide this weekend. Just an idea!

That wasn't possible though, Dave... we noted at the end of a recent show that X-Files had one advanced screening and we couldn't make it. It wasn't an option.
Additionally, we don't really have time for 'extra' podcasts... we made the call that a DK spoiler review would be more interesting than any other options we had this week. So far there hasn't been a groundswell of protest.
I thought this was a great episode, and I'd love to see more like it. I think you could have made the case for spoiler-casts for Indy 4 and Wall-E as well, because both of those can't really be discussed fully without talking about the endings. It's not hard for those who haven't seen it to skip that section: a great thing about your podcasts is how easy you guys make it to jump around within them.
Given the popularity of The Dark Knight I don't mind a spoiler edition - but I do not want this as a trend.
Seems rather unlikely.
Adam, I usually get so excited for Adam/Matty outtakes that I just miss everything you say at the end of the show. Ha!
Dave, I can live with that!
