FS #201: Director's Cut
March 18: Put the kiddies to bed, don your best housecoat, break out the scotch (any type of Glen will do), and join Adam and Matty for some Filmspotting After Dark ... or, um, Filmspotting: The Director's Cut... or Filmspotting: The Feedback Show. We're not really sure what we're calling this thing. In any event, we're trotting out a short bonus edition of Filmspotting focusing on your feedback and whatever else pops into our heads. May become a regular thing, may not. Hope you enjoy.

Not to be the obnoxious person that points out the obvious, but a character that gets pregnant and gives birth will probably be more of a strong female role rather than a strong male role.
Feminists in general and Ellen Page in particular DO HAVE VERY VALID COMPLAINTS TO MAKE, however, outside of Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Junior," roles that center on pregnancy and birth have predominantly gone to the ladies.
Yes, but that doesn't really have anything to do with how her performance is judged or the lack of 'strong female roles.'
I haven't listened to the show yet, but I like the idea. I think I like the After Dark name the most.
Yep. Filmspotting After Dark has got to be the name. You can throw out these listener feedback shows anytime! Great stuff.
I really liked the "Director's Cut" edition, especially since you talk about listener feedback. And I'm not just saying that because you mentioned my John Wayne festival suggestion.
