Cinecast #67: A Tragic Top 5

We'll always have Cinecast #67

Hitchcock Marathon #3/Tragic Love Stories: Half-way through a six-week Master of Suspense Marathon, Adam and Sam come to a fork in the road... and take it. Rather than choose between Hitchcock's only Best Picture-winning film (Rebecca) and one of Hitch's personal favorites (Shadow of a Doubt), the boys find time for both films. Sam liked "Rebecca's" dark, perverse romance more than Adam, but both agreed that "Shadow of a Doubt" was the real gem. With its witty critique of middle class complacency, tense plotting and a killer performance by charming evil-doer Joseph Cotten, "Shadow of a Doubt" was more than worth their time.

Also on the show, Listener Voicemails and our Top 5 Tragic Love Stories.
